Make New Friends, But Keep The Old

Let me take a moment to introduce myself to you new and old friends. To my new friends I am Bridgette D. Williams, author, playwright and poet. To my old friends I am that and so many other things. BUT I say to you that I am God's daughter. That's not to say that I am perfect nor can I make the sky rain with fire. It means that I choose His way over my own. It may cost me a lot, even some old friends. Don't get it twisted, I'm not dumping people because I feel that I'm holier than thou, noooooo some folks just get turned off by His effect on my life.

Friends old and new, present or not, I love you. Many of you have heard me say that my life is too short to for grudges, hatred and feuds. It's true. I'm not dying, but I want to live each day as if it were my last.
Tomorrow I go to my Girl Scout's troop and we're making Valentine Cards for shut in Senior Citizens. We'll  end our meeting with the song, "Make new Friends" I'll think of all the new and old friends I have. And you know what else...? Some of my old friends have become new!

LOVE is a powerful gift from Father. Share it with your friends!
Have a GREAT Valentine's day!!!
